Around 2 p.m., all the athletes gradually arrived – even four colleagues from Stadthagen joined us to strengthen our MINDA team. Shortly before the first match, it was time for a joint warm-up session: with a round of “Schweinchen in der Mitte,” everyone got moving and the good mood started to build.

The opening match was a challenge right away – the opposing team proved strong and won the game. To recharge, we headed for fries, bratwurst, and currywurst before starting our second match.

In the second round, we pulled off a surprise: with an early goal, we took the lead, which sparked great excitement and loud cheers not only on the field but also among our fanbase on the sidelines. We managed to hold the lead for a long time, but in the end, the match ended in a well-deserved 1–1 draw. The atmosphere was fantastic – both on and off the field, especially during the next round of fries and bratwurst.

The final match was intense; our opponents scored some great goals, so we had to admit defeat. This meant the tournament was over for us, but our team spirit remained unbroken. Together, we ended the day with food, drinks, and many smiling faces.

In the end, the host team secured the tournament victory – but for us, the joy of taking part together was clearly the top priority. A sporty afternoon that showed: at MINDA, team spirit works not only in everyday work, but also on the football pitch. And who knows – maybe we’ll bring home the cup next year?!
